I modified my 2001 BMW 530 to retrofit Bixenon projectors so I though I may tackle this. Lightwerkz said these are the pieces needed:

It's $600 in parts, $1500 in labor to install them on their end seems steep!

I didn't feel comfortable opening up headlights since it's not as simple as unscrewing a few bolts, so they did the retrofit, and as for installation on the car a place that I know near me did it for a reasonable price.

I talked to my Indy yesterday and he is confident that they can install the factory xenons for me. The only caveat is that they will need to code out the adaptive portion otherwise it would be extremely costly. My Indy quoted me 3-5 hours in labor to do the retrofit.

Found a nice pair of Xenons on Ebay complete with ballasts, controller and LED modules for $1000 shipped. Looking forward to getting rid of the yellow flashlights!
