Anyone know where to get the bracket for the MATCH pp82dsp amp?

I bought a Match PP82DSP (AF version, not the bimmertech version) used from a forum member here, but it didn't come with the bracket to mount it in the stock location.

Specifically I'm talking about the matte black metal thing with the fins pictured below. Is this a bimmertech specific part? I emailed them asking if I can purchase one separately. Anyone know of an alternative place to buy one, or is there a way to install without it?

Thanks for any insight.

Hmmm. I installed the MATCH UP 7BMW in my car and used the factory bracket. Did you buy the amp new or used?

Used.

This guy has a pretty good explaination of removing the stock amp (8:05) and also replacing it with the aftermarket amp (10:28)

So basically there is a stock spot that the amp slides into, because the stock amp has some fins, and a little piece where it can screw in.

Since the match amp doesnt have these fins or place to screw it in, there is a bmw specific adapter bracket that allows it to fit in the stock location.

I could try to secure it in another way, but it seems thats the easiest.

Did you not use one?

No, the MATCH amp uses the factory mounting bracket.
