New audio system installed!

Finally have some pics to post of audio system I installed over the winter. Ended up with full system using Focal for fronts and rear deck (deleted center channel) and JL Amp and Sub. Did some sound deadening in doors and rear trunk space. System sounds simply awesome! I did not fully "install" the speaker wire for sub so I could remove sub and still access battery etc. Installed sub using black right angle plates with thumb knobs so I can remove sub if I need the extra trunk space.

Parts used:
JL DRC100 remote volume etc. knob (still to install)
Focal IC BMW 100 rear deck speakers
Focal IC BMW 100W door speakers
JL VX700/5i Amp
JL 10w3 sub
Custom enclosure
Custom mounting board for amp
Technic PNP 676 Wire harness
Technic ASD Bypass harness

Looks clean. Nice work. I just purchased a JL 10w3 as well and looking into a custom enclosure (musicar, visual ice)

Any good install videos out there?

Clean install. How are you finding the low end in the cabin with a sealed enclosure?

Bass is super solid. Played with box positioning in the trunk. Happy with result. Remote knob for sub is great too.

I went with a JL12W3v3 and started with a box from visual ice. He made it too small as far as volume is concerned. I just cut it apart a few months ago and made it larger to get the 1.25 cuft needed. Whatever direction you go, make sure the cuft vol is correct.

Nice set up.
Did you get a lot of hiss from the stock head unit?
I have the jl xd600 with focal is100s and had to turn the sensitivity way down to make the hiss less intrusive.

Don’t get any engine whine (old school issue) or hiss.

No hiss eh? I have the ASD bypass coming, I hope that cuts it down some.

ASD BYPASS installed now. It cut the hiss down, but it is still there.

I've just had these exact components quoted for installation. Sure isn't budget friendly, however... having the DSP is a must since I have the true base system. I think I might just pull the trigger next week.
