M235i 2015 - Error 804884 & 804886
Hi all. Whilst there is no issue with how the rear lights are working, I am getting the following errors after the rear lights were both disconnected/reconnected. Get the exact same for both: 804886 Path: Automatic selection > Diagnosis > Auto scan > Read codes > Fault description: Output 2_Standlicht right faulty or line disconnection or short circuit to KL30 Condition for fault identification: Supply voltage between 11 and 16 V (KL30L2) Terminal 30L on Fault setting criteria: Circuit is broken or has a short circuit to UBatt Action in service: 1. Connector LED - check rear lights module 2. Check wiring between right inner tail light and rear electronic module for interruption or short-circuit to battery voltage 3. Replace right inner tail light 4. If fault still present, replace rear electronic module Fault effect and breakdown warning: The light cannot be switched on or off Driver information: Check control message (87): Right rear light failed! Service instruction: None 804884 Mileage: Path: Automatic selection > Diagnosis > Auto scan > Read codes > Fault description: Output 2_Standlicht left faulty or line disconnection or short circuit to KL30 Condition for fault identification: Supply voltage between 11 and 16 V (KL30L1) Terminal 30L on Fault setting criteria: Circuit is broken or has a short circuit to UBatt Action in service: 1. Connector LED - check rear lights module 2. Check wiring between left inner tail light and rear electronic module for interruption or short-circuit to battery voltage 3. Replace left inner tail light 4. If fault still present, replace rear electronic module Fault effect and breakdown warning: The light cannot be switched on or off Driver information: Check control message (118): Right rear light failed! Service instruction: None The car is out of warranty, and BMW want £135 just to look at it. Has anyone seen these errors? Any assistance/advice will be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Matt |
