As an update, a local guy in a 135i was running these tires this weekend at an event I was at. Same issue with wear on a stock car. He said he's not noticed any degradation in performance yet, but does not expect the fronts to last long at all. Which confirms my fear for these tires. They're awesome, but don't expect to get a season out of one set. At minimum 2 pairs of fronts would be needed if your lucky I'd imagine.

you could rotate them inside out maybe?

That's definitely something I plan to do, it still just sucks that a 200 treadwear tire will necessitate that in such a short time.
