Flash Tuning 2020 DME through OBD2
Hello. Have been interested in going with a flash but there seems to be some confusion on compatibility.. For the m240i on MHD's website, the compatibility only goes until the 2019 year. For bootmod3 they said I MIGHT need a bench unlock. MHD said in europe there is no problem with locked DMEs so they couldn't tell me.. Both companies said I needed to buy their adapter and make a connection with their application first so that they can tell me if it's compatible and they wouldn't be able to tell me until I do so. That sounds dumb... I don't want to buy anything if I don't know it's compatible...
So.. Has anyone successfully flashed MY2020 through OBD2? Does the DME on the 2020 M240i need bench unlocking prior to flashing through OBD? Thanks!

It's going to depend on the software version on your car that's why they need you to connect it.
