I learned a hole in the wall burrito place that I've avoided going to ever since it moved in actually has very good burritos. Very possibly the best burritos in town, or at least certainly better than the chain places that are prevalent here.

I learned that there is a rather large wasp nest hanging right over where I park my truck.

I learned 2 things about the Prius (sis-in-law left her car here while on vacay with the wife): first is that they are actually bigger than the M2 - things got a butt bigger than an x3, or seems to; second is that they have this tiny little Ferrari-esque gated 'shifter'. OK, 3 things - I really don't EVER want to drive one further than into the garage.

Today I learned when the I.T. department wants to do a major server upgrade the day before month end you kick, punch and scream to come back next week b/c sh!t's going to go wrong!!!!!!

Stress levels are high when everyones commission depends on computers working today and you're already down 2 hours and counting

Why would they not do this on a Sunday? Any cutover or server upgrade I've been a part of, happens on Sunday. I also imagine that come Monday, when you start trouble shooting network/server issues, will also most likely be the time that the bean counter's will need close out month end, no?

They don't do weekends. Since my dept is closed on weekends, today becomes our month end.
Everything works except this one software for accounting....which calculates all of our billing. Life goes on....

Today I learned that since someone mentioned burritos yesterday, I may be foregoing my current pre-made lunch, following my dreams and getting a burrito instead.

Today I also learned that the marching band playing at the end of the Brad Paisley song "Online" from 2007 is actually my HS marching band. I probably have several friends that are playing on that song - No I was not a band geek, Rugby multi-state champ here.

Today I learned, where I live, from someone in another country, whom I've never met in person. This can also be read as today, I re-learned how stupid I really am.

LOL - I'm probably going back to that burrito place again for lunch today honestly. I liked their steak burrito!

And I'm glad I've got everyone else thinking about burritos now.
