Park Assist?
I opted to not buy park assist. I am old enough to know how to parallel park! however, considering that option is only $200 I'm wondering if it can be coded in? I would think it uses existing hardware and the $200 cost is to flip a bit?

Bettah to get a Hyundai with smaht pahk and a clickah!
As the previous poster mentioned, unless you have all the required sensors/cameras and a BDC Module, not likely it can just be coded.

If it's any consolation, I had the Park Assist on my previous two BMWs (in the UK, it was bundled-in with the PDC option at the time). I never once got it to actually work when I needed it to. In the end, I concluded that it probably works well in countries with wide roads and long parking spaces, but crowded and narrow English streets were not what it was designed for.
Just like Launch Control, it's something that the manufacturers seem to go on about but which most owners can't be bothered with, even if it's bundled-in with other stuff.
