My VQ37 Swapped Lada Niva

My WIP project of swapping the tiny 81hp engine with a 3.7L VQ37 v6 with a 7 speed auto and awd drivetrain.

Got it running some days ago

I think not, didn't drove it yet. But 330hp is too little for it to wheelie))

Say what you will about Infiniti and how they're always a step or two behind the competition but, the VQHR/VHR of that generation is still pretty slick. If components come loose on that old car of yours, it won't be from the engine vibration.

Yeah compared to E series they are not that bad but entertainment wise no way near the the F series bmw's.

Had a little drive after work. Didn't really step on it, no exhaust atm.
Woke up the whole Neighbourhood

It's weird because I always thought it was kind of coarse at high RPM. A pretty good design though.

I guess is differs on a case by case basis. Mine's just as smooth as my ultra balanced built 3.8 Cayman engine. They're in different stratospheres as far as performance goes but again, the VQ hums right up to its new 8000 redline with little discernable NVH.

Resonators are in. I'm using a 51mm stainless pipe with oem resonators, no cats.
It's still missing the muffler but I can finally talk near the running car.
