Koni SA with M-Sport

At 80k my M235i F22 needs new struts.
.
Thinking of EDC Delete with Koni SA using existing Springs.
.
Do I use (New) OEM bump stops?
.
Should I swap out the Springs?
.
Was planning to get new mounts and new dust shields and rubber perches etc.
.
Help is appreciated.

It's good practice to replace relatively cheap things in the area that may need replacing instead of having to disassemble for insignificant part failures in the future. Even if they don't fail outright, a new part will perform better.

Springs are questionable, I haven't heard of OE spring failures, only aftermarket. Mounts and supporting hardware I would personally definitely do to avoid squeaks and creaks and general looseness. Strut mount bolts (the ones in your engine bay) are aluminum and TTY so new hardware would be good to avoid any bolts breaking as well.

Let us know how you like the Koni SA.

Just could not make a decision - Stayed OE

Just bought all new OE BMW Struts, BMW Mounts, Bumps, Perches and Dust Boots.
.
.
I had recently changed out LCA and Thrust Arm & End Links.
.
So the car now rides like it did when new - not a bad thing.

B6 Damptronics would have been nice but felt I needed lowering springs and was concerned about the DD ride quality. Koni Sports with Dinan Springs would also have been interesting to compare.

I originally changed out to eliminate a driver side strut mount chatter clunking noise and decided to R&R everything since it all had to be taken apart. At 80K miles it was time. Yes on removal I was shocked how the old adaptive struts were absolutely worn out. Now I just need to save up to buy the rears. Purchased everything from getbmwparts.com for a great price on BF Sale. They were / are great to work with.

Cheers & Happy Holidays.
