M235i Shooting Flames?
So. I just found out that my car shoots flames, which I think is odd since I'm not running a custom map. The car has the OEM muffler (NOT THE MPE), here are the mods:
Main stuff: VRSF catless downpipe MHD Stage 2, Burbles are set to aggressive in Sport, duration is 1.2 seconds Other mods: BMS intake BMS charge pipe XHP stage 3 on the transmission Resonator delete My questions: Is this normal for MHD users? Has this happened to anyone else? How bad is this for my car? Also, it only does it when revved over 5k rpms, since I set it to not burble past that limit. Here is a vid of what I'm talking about: Last edited by CadenM235; 03-05-2023 at 08:31 PM.. Reason: spelling |

any and almost every car can shoot flames when you are catless. That is ultimately what allows it to happen. Cats act like giant mufflers and flame filters.
So, when remove the cat on a sports car that has an aggressive tune already - it will pretty much shoot flames right away. |
