Need help figuring out what part this is

Hi I'm brand new to Bimmerpost, as I just bought a 2016 BMW M235i from auction. It's missing some under paneling and I was looking for ages, both on BMW diagrams as well as trying to cross reference images and videos, with no luck finding this part.

It's circled in the picture, and looks like an aluminum splash shield/under cover for the engine/power steering rack.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Would this be part #1 in this diagram?

Its a redundant part, it's covered completely by the bigger under tray. I took mine off the first time under the car and never went back.

I actually ended up finding it in these diagrams:

http://mfans2.com/parts/catalog/F22/...erhood_shield/

Part #: 6850067 (Shortened without prefix and dashes)

And I guess as @jb-slow pointed out, it's redundant and not super necessary. However I don't have the larger under panel either, so I may end up going with this smaller, less expensive panel.
