Good day! I'm an E46 ZHP owner and I've found my way here, now that I have a 2019 230. It's a great car.

I have a pair of 4" speakers that I want to try out in the back deck before buying any of the recommended sets that you all have so kindly posted.

I'm wondering if there is an entrepreneur who has made a BMW to speaker pigtail adapter. There are about eleventy-thousand options on eBay and only one or two seem to be the right fit for the F22 setups. My car has the HK system, and I would be installing a regular coax speaker on the back deck, leaving the HK tweeter in place but unplugged.

I searched the forum and was not able to find a definitive answer. Thanks!

Not 100% sure if this is what you’re looking for, but I just happened to be watching this video earlier. Pretty sure this guy is a forum member and has made lots of f22 specific audio videos

Yes, I've seen this. The only problem with this solution is that he repurposes the BMW parts. I'd need to reverse the procedure when selling the car if I reinstall the original HK speakers. I'd rather not do this work twice -- or even once -- if I can source the right parts.

This was the correct adapter, less than $8 for a pair, and it worked!
