Recommendation for wheel refinishing
Looking for recommendations for wheel refinishing in the Guelph area.
Hoping someone has some firsthand experience with a local shop.

There's a place in Kitchener I've been to.. RimDoctor. It was a few years back but their prices were decent. They sub out the powder coating and some refinishing but do other repairs in house.
Place looks a bit sketchy but it's been around for decades. I'll be going there in the spring to redo my winters. |

because I'm currently at work and can't remember the name of the shop and need to dig around at home to get it, OP wanted a place in Guelph, so I wanted to know before I waded through my old receipts from a few years back (if I still have it), should I go through the trouble and possibly get a "no thanks I really need Guelph" Guelph to GTA is a good 50km's and he'd need to leave the car or the wheels there, so possible 200km trip. (4 times, there and back)

NP Kitchener is far closer than the guy I used in the GTA,
I'm in Mississauga, so it's closer, I did do a weekly travel to Guelph (the uni up there), so it was a bit of a trek for me. Let me know though if it doesn't work out |

Throw up some before/after pics?
Forgot to take before pics but they did a great job on my winters. Original (knockoff brand) paint was starting to flake and bubble, was discolored from salt/brake dust. See post 5288 for finished pic https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show...8#post30381478 Taxes in around $550 for all 4. Last edited by freakystyly; 08-08-2023 at 11:30 AM.. |
