Cheers, I tried that but that ones the gps sender. The one I’m looking for is the key one, the car isn’t seeing that there is a key present and central locking not working from key also.
Thanks though |

Various models show the item pictured is where jzeiler4 mentioned...
Minis, I8, I3, SUVs, other hatchbacks.. passenger side rear, near the fuel filler. Above the wheel well. I can't find a diagram for a vert tho. |

Thanks I tried that earlier and guess what…. No location. I de trimmed the boot and had rear seat out and lhs side panel as I guessed it would be that side as the aerial is. Will try fuel filler side tomorrow.
Appreciate the help . ( the patient with its siblings….) Last edited by Dirtybeer; 01-08-2023 at 01:49 PM.. Reason: Added pic |

So I’ve found out where it is but I ain’t 100% sure I’m gonna replace it….
Built into the reset seats is the unit that houses the pop up roll bar if the car flips. It’s in there, I’ve also been told these don’t fail?! I’m nervous to take that unit apart. A clue may be that car battery warning came up, I’m going to load test the battery and trickle charge it as I think this may be the cause. The key worked intermittently when I was running it over weekend. Bear in mind the cars done 9000 miles in 5 years, yes 9k!! The battery may be goosed. |
