Does Hi-Fi S676 Door Speaker Have Tweeter Output
Have 2014 228i with Hi-Fi S676 Audio system. The sail panels are blank, no tweeters. I bought sail panels w/tweeters (not HK, but Hi-Fi tweeters from F30).
Does my hi-fi front speaker have the 2nd connector port for the tweeter or do I need to get HK 4" door speaker? |

No wires there. You need a crossover and wires for the tweeters to tap off the door speaker wiring. If you are planning on using the stock door speakers this upgrade will not get you much.

I figured the sound quality improvement would be limited. One reason I bought the tweeters/panel is visual, other is improved highs, but lastly a spot for upgraded tweeter and main speaker in the future. With this I would also consider disconnecting the center speakers as many have suggested.
I made another post on low cost 4" BMW speaker alternates from AliExpress which I'm considering since I don't see anyone selling used HK's. |
