First, happy that you survived. The car certainly absorbed a big impact. If I might ask, what wheels are on your car (plus diameter/width)? They look quite interesting.

Have you considered using the opportunity to upgrade to a F87 M2? Similar-ish styling to your car and an upgrade performance-wise.. You will be able to find a nice M2 (OG/Comp) under what you were going to shell out for the 440.

They’re nothing special, VMR 710s Et35 18”x8.5” I believe. Just the winter tire setup.

I’d absolutely love to have an M2 but I really want the AWD for the winter months. I used to have a rwd 325 so I know it can be done and everything but its sure nice to know that front axle is pulling too.

Honestly if I was going to get a rwd only car, it would probably be a corvette lol

Dang man, glad you are okay. I couldn't imagine the type of impact that was on your body. Good to see the 2 series doing well in a collision.

Agreed. Not to start a flame war or anything, I think the M2 is BMWs most "pure" sports car in the current era. At that price point though I would seriously have to cross-shop a new C8 Vette (where else can you get a mid-engine V8 for that price?) or a Cayman.

Sad to see your belle white totally destroyed, but happy to hear you’re safe.

All the best for your research.

In Europe where we can’t park, drive big cars… the F22 size is perfect (for 2 persons ) to drive with the Joy and travel with wife’s bulky items.
