It depends on whether the factory coolant is green or blue, supposedly they switched in January 2018 to the current green formula. You can use green in cars that are older and originally used blue, but not the other way around.

That container of "blue" (82-14-1-467-704) should be concentrated, normally requiring 50/50 mix with distilled water.

Where did you get this info? Curious. I have the blue on hand (that I bought at the car dealer) for my 2004 motorcycle, but my M240 came with green.

I've seen this info as well, but only second hand.

Multiple parts sites such as this (https://www.bimmerworld.com/Fluids/B...allon-Jug.html) quote the January 2018 date, but I would check what is installed in a given vehicle. The blue G48 coolant is suitable for all vehicles up to 2018, the green HT-12 is suitable for all vehicles.

Ok, I figured it out. I had the coolants (engine and intercooler) changed last summer by the dealer. I provided the distilled water. I check the work order and the tech did use the older coolant: 82 14 1467 704. The car was built in August of 2017.
