228i - Alignment/Camber Plates vs Stock Alignment/No Camber Plates - Data Graphs
I was originally going to start a thread with a series of reports for each modification to my new to me 228i. My plan was to show the AIM GPS speed graphs for each mod, since I run pretty much all at the same track (The Ridge) and I can only really afford one mod at a time, I thought it would be fun to show what each mod actually did. So....Since my car is down and the moment -
https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1781019 Here's where I have so far: 2015 228i N20 8AT ZTR Track Package - 62k 3270lbs (no driver) Tires are 18" the staggered and were basically new when I bought the car - even thought they are horribly mismatched. Rear - Bridgestone 300TR Front - Riken All-season 540TR All stock except Ferodo DS2500 pads and good fluid Graph 1 - As run off the street vs lowered tire pressures Graph 2 - Lowered pressures vs Camber plates and track alignment Graph 3 - Off the street vs Camber plates and alignment Unfortunately, I didn't get to run my square setup with 200TR tires (next mod step) because the motor popped....Nothing really is a surprise with the graphs, other than it is fun to see where the improvements actually are: |
