license plate on front bumper repair/help

Picking up my ‘16 m235 tomorrow CPO from a dealer. Has everything i was wanting, except it having the plate on front bumper. it kills me.

What’s best way to repair or make the drill holes the least noticeable once I remove the front plate and frame?

thank you

Garage List
My quick cheap fix on my last car was to use color-matching plastic plugs from HD/Lowes.

Or, a body shop can fill it, sand and repaint.

Bumper Plugs has painted plugs:

Thankfully the factory plate mount had not been installed on our coupe, so no holes. We went with the Skene bracket: https://skenebrackets.com/

I second Bumperplugs, I used them on my wife's X2 and you don't even notice where the holes were drilled in the front bumper.

Have used this on multiple vehicles. It has always worked nicely.

On a recent trip to San Antonio saw a McLaren with a front license plate that was a vinyl decal. Don’t know how legal it is, but it’s a brilliant solution.

Overlooked, ready to return new 2 me

Overlooked the fact that my new to me M240xi had frigging holes drilled into the front bumper.... and it's not even really level........

Seriously thinking about returning the car over this crap. I live in FL and don't want anything on that beautiful front end. Absolutely livid that BMW has no factory solution other than frigging runing your front end..........

The plugs are a welcome option but I still may return her... or am I just being a big snowflake........??

Hahaha, that's an awesome idea! Probably issues that it can be removed, not permanently mounted where required. But still an awesome no damage solution!

I used the Tow Hook adapter. Works great and when ordering my M240, I made it very clear, and is on the purchase order, "No Front Plate Bracket"... The SA understood and made sure there was no bracket.

Good luck!
