Bm3 burbles OEM vs OTS vs Custom

What is the sweet spot? I searched a few posts here and the 3 series forum. Just curious what settings fellow 2ers use. Is OTS more aggressive than oem but still safe on my sport cat. Or should I just make a custom setting?

Leave it OEM, burble popping is annoying, obnoxious and AFAIK serves no function other than pissing people off.

I kept mine on tha Stock BM3 setting cuz i have my OEM DownPipe, but i plan on changing it after i put an aftermarket DownPipe and my Dinan Exhaust. I dont want anything waay to aggressive cuz of my living complex, but a couple pops with a short duration would be appropriate.

FYI, an N55 M2 owner's Akrapovic sportcat was severely melted and the theory here is that the previous owner ran an overly obnoxious/aggressive burble tune:

Yeah I'm thinking the most going OTS burble settings but is that too aggressive I just want something SLIGHTLY more aggressive than OEM

On the N55 M2, the BM3 "OEM" setting is already a bit more aggressive than the actual stock OEM tune. It's probably the same way for the m235i. Personally I think it's probably a hair above my comfort level in terms of cat longevity. But for sound wise I think its quite good for a modest user
