tpms malfunction

I have a 2019 m240i xdrive and got a tpms malfunction message this weekend. it's not the same one you get when one of your tires is low as it won't measure pressure at all. anyone else have this happen? could it be the batteries in the sensors have gone dead? I am currently running a set of 19" vmr wheels on the car.

I doubt that the battery or batteries have gone bad. Try resetting iDrive.

Start the car go into idrive under settings where you check the oil level there is a tpms reset select it and start the rest car must be stopped to activate. Once you activate the reset drive the car status bar will go up until it fails or reaches 100% once at 100% the reset is complete

Happened to me around the same time. I chalked it up to the first real freeze. Resetting tire pressure solved it.
