Id gladly head over to the BMW dealership and trade my E-92 M3 for an M2! BMW what the hell are you waiting for this car would be a great seller. Sell the M235i for 43-45k the M2 for 55k and the M4 for 65k which to me sound perfect. Im not buying an M4 or M3, im waiting on this car even if it means holding on to my E92 for a while. My wifes 328d feels huge while driving, i want a smaller car!!

[QUOTE=Igor@ONEighty;14898606]Just came across this. So dope.
If the M2 looks like this, I better go and clear space in the garage next to the 1M as I have just found its soul mate BMW go and build it and don't forget the liberal sprinkling of magic dust taken from the 1M, if it makes the grade we will buy it |

If that's honestly the M performance, I'm a little disappointed. That M performance render should be like the M235i and the regular is the regular M sport or vice versa. I was under the impression that the "performance" division would deviate from the M division and the stock/Msport. For example, the front bumper they sold for the E90 and E82/88/87.
I'm looking for something unique from the "performance" division but this render still looks amazing. |

This thing is tits!!! So much win all around. Compared to the M4 render- I would take an "M2" any day of the week. I got that same feeling I got after seeing the e92 for the first time when seeing this render

That first render looks amazing. I was not a fan of the looks of the 1 series, but the 2 series is an improvement, and if they make a M2 that looks like that, I'll be tempted...

Which, of course, is the reason you will not hear BMW announcing plans publicly to produce an M2. The announcement itself could cannibalize sales of M4s and M235i's also. From a marketing perspective, it's better for them to stay mum on it or say "they have not made a decision at this time."

How about this? Was thinking M4 convertible but might actually go this route. The car is absolutely gorgeous!
