yes I know, what I meant is that the size, engine and overall look will be so close that to differentiate them seems redundant...saturated model lineup

Really? I think it'll be sufficiently smaller than the F30 to make it very appealing.

Garage List
I like the render... looks better than the 2er as the rear windshield has a smoother transition into the trunk

I completely agree. I'd rather have quality over quantity. Having a massive model lineup means less focus on each model.

I wouldn't complain if they got rid of all the GCs and GTs (especially the GTs).

Interesting....
but add silver wheels and the new M Aerodynamic mirrors from the M4. And maybe a standard 220d Gran Coupe as well for a reality check.

very true, and a personal decision for all.

In my case.. to be honest... aside from my 1M... I generally purchase my BMWs in the used market, once they have reached a price that I am able to afford.

That's a great render, though a little too sedan-shaped for a GC in my opinion.

If this was real I would buy this car so fast, it's exactly the car I want and I wouldn't have to settle of a 3 series.

Am I the only person that wishes the 2er GC would be out earlier than 2015 or even now?

Not sure if I can wait 2 years for the 2er GC to be released

You're not the only one...I really like the 2 series but a GC would be awesome...Also I don't get how people are comparing this car to a CLA45 AMG i think it would be better to compare it to the Audi s3 sedan which i also like a lot but there's two things I don't like...1st it doesn't come with a manual transmission and second ive had two GTI's with that same engine (smaller turbo but same 2.0 TSI) and it's not bad but a 6 cylinder would be better
