I think thats the only way I can accept that front end... the double slat grilles complete it. Otherwise it looks a lil weird to me.

It's amazing that with the alphabet soup line-up of cars BMW currently builds, people still seem to want something else that they are not making.

Also, yes, this rendition looks devilish. Doesn't mean BMW will make it, and if they do, I really don't think it would look anything like this. Snap out of it people.

Yea, because that car you speak of has CF roof and trunk lid, LSD with torque vectoring and a different interior, ect...

You need to wake up. The M2 will show up sooner or later. Question is for how much over the M235i.

Not trying to dismiss your opinion, because I think you make some great points (and I really want to believe that an M2 is being developed). But truly, has an M car ever had a different interior? My e92 M3 is an almost identical layout to my e90 330i (aside from some subtle changes).

I'm just not sure why there is any doubt. That would be like saying well you can get a 435i Msport with LSD from the port, why make an M4?

BMW left PLENTY of room for an M2. Maybe not engine wise, my guess is as good as anyone what they'd do with that. But M4 suspension parts, M-DCT, LSD, CF ect... those are all huge ticket items that have been left out of the M235i for a good reason.

Again, I think you make a great argument for the M2 so I hope you're right! I really do.

LSD
Carbon fiber roof and spoiler
Bump in power (maybe a toned down S55)
DCT
Quad exhaust
Aggressive body paneling

That sounds incredible!
