Totally agree!

Looks like the cut the F30 rear lights towards the end and added it to the 2 series? I really don't like it.

Well I guess I should see this in person first...

Added more photos to the M235i gallery. The tail lights look amazing at night.

I just realized that by the time you add the following options to the M235, the price will hurt

M performance 19 inch wheels
M perf LSD
M performance Suspension
M performance brakes

Plus the mandatory premium and tech packages = ouch

I feel like i'm the only one disappointed in the look of this car. Looks too grown up to me. Not enough sporty and too much business class

I like what I see....I do think the proportions are a little off in the rear but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

This should be arriving right about the time my girlfriend is in the market for a car...

Answering mkoesel's question from the now closed thread:

F22 will start production using the current engines. However, it doesn't seem to be the long term solution, since the new engines will be introduced soon, likely alongside F20/F21 facelift. Still, it may only affect Europe, since the engines that the US gets may not be replaced right away. Right now, I can see that F30 LCI will get B-series engines across the board in Europe, but the US version will stick with N20/26. Also, for N55, only its M0 version (300hp one) already has B58 as the replacement, while O0 (320hp) doesn't. So, if BMW decides to use the same approach for F22, their US versions may have to carry on with N20/26/55 for a bit longer.

So I have never really been sold on the F3x style changes to the e9x but I do feel like this does deal with the downfalls in styling for the e82. Really looks good; and with the M235 with a mechanical LSD - imagine what the M2 is going to have to bring to differentiate?! Sell your e82 / 1m now before the price drop!

IMO, with the extra leg room in back, additional strength in materials (likely chassis rigidity) are 2 very good reasons this is major upgrade to the 1 series.

While I like the 1 and it would be my current choice for a used car to track, this would be a better DD.

Do you detune the M3/4 engine or try and squeeze 50 MORE horses outta the N55?
With the specs the M235i has I highly doubt there is room for a M2.
