No LSD in options or standard equipment list is disappointing.

Hopefully it has the additional radiator and higher wattage radiator fan from the F30 335 M sport package.

Perhaps a BMW Performance item. And if the ring gear continues to be welded, you are looking at a complete final drive from BMW, not just a simply LSD add-on.

This is going to depend on the particular market.

E46 M3
length: 4490
front track: 1508
rear track: 1525

M235i
length: 4454
front track: 1516
rear track: 1532

So a bit shorter than E46 M3, with a wider stance front and rear. I am liking this very much.

That's a straight conversion from South African prices. US pricing will be lower.

That's SA pricing. Expect it to start around 38,000 US. Especially when a f30 335i starts at 42K US.

I still want the M2!!!

Just by comparing other models on both SA and USA site. Looks like the M235i should come in under 135is msrp.

I'm also thinking it will be an M-performance add-on, so it won't show up in the options list.

Wow thanks for sharing. Pretty sure they will make an M-performance LSD for this car but hopefully it doesn't cost as much as the carbon ceramic brakes

M235i is a very very cool car IMO. I would happily have one of these over a stupid 435i. If there is an M2, it will be very high on my list to follow my E90 M3 in about 4-5 years.
The link from OP is no longer directing to anything 2 series related. The page was probably taken down.

In 5 years I plan on getting a getaway car for my wife and I(10th Anni.) so now I have to decide between a CPO decent miles Porsche 911 Turbo or an M235i. Hmm...
