Touch up paint repair

Calling all paint guys. So I'm not sure what happened, but while cleaning my car last night I found a pretty sizable chip/ding/not sure what to call it on my rear bumper.

It's relatively deep and because it's on the sharp crease of the bumper, it sorts of dented the plastic and wrinkled the paint around it. I was going to touch it up with bmw touch up paint and try to clear coat, sand, and buff it to repair, but I'm not sure if that's the best way. Do you guys have any suggestions?

If take it to a body shop,
There is no way you’d get a half- decent repair trying to do it yourself.

That’s the downside of plastic bumpers they can’t be knocked out by Dent Wizard like metal. Looks like its going to need some filler and getting it smooth and getting the paint look good means a repair shop.

Alright, I think I'm going to have to rethink the touchup thing...Maybe a little naive to think that it was a DIY job. I'll check in with a couple body shops and see what they quote me.

They may be able to take a heat gun to that wrinkle and work it out. Although with it being on the crease, it might be difficult. Highly preferred to trying to put filler on a plastic bumper or getting a new bumper cover. Keeping the OEM one on there is always best if they can do it, even if it's not absolutely perfect.
