2015 M235i - clicking when turning right

Front driver side wheel well makes a clicking sound when doing sharp right turns. Noticed it with windows down. Car is at 39K miles, CPO, and still under warranty. Just had all brake pads and rotors replaced a few hundred miles ago at dealership.

Brought it to same dealership and mentioned the service bulletin in place below.

SITUATION
The customer may complain of a ticking noise from the front axle when cornering, maneuvering, parking or
pulling away from a parking space. The noise can be heard as a light metallic ticking from the front outer
cornering wheel.

CAUSE
Movement between the brake disc and wheel bearing hub.

CORRECTION
Remove and clean the front axle brake discs.
Sand the hub surface on the brake disc
to the wheel bearing hub using 80-grit
sandpaper.
Sand the surface in a radial motion
(inside to outside around the surface.
Clean the wheel bearing hub surface.
Important!!
Do not sand the hub surface.
Do not apply any type of lubricant to
the components surface (wheel bearing
or brake disc).
Reinstall the front axle brake discs.

Update from dealer: they added a friction plate between the hub and caliper. Not a spacer. Shouldn't push out tires at all.

Sounds like corrosion builds up between the hub and rotor to hub surfaces. It's not uncommon I've seen it happen with various other cars including my wife's Santa Fe.

Basically they remove the rotor sand the back where it meets the hub and the face of the hub. After that make sure it's clean and then reinstall. You should be good to go after that.

Interesting. Doesn't sound like they're gonna sand it, hence the spacers.

A while back I started a thread for this exact issue, however mine did it on either side. Only 7000mi at the time and I had just installed BMS hub centric wheel spacers. The noise happened about 600mi after having the spacers on the car. I swore it wasn't the spacers, everything was torque to spec and cleaned. Took it to dealer they attempted a brake clean, noise still there. I took off the brand new spacers and voila! The noise instant gone and have never heard it since. At 13000mi now. Thought Id share my experience and this is exactly what I described it as:

"The noise can be heard as a light metallic ticking from the front outer cornering wheel"

Common problem that needs a better fix. I had the same thing and they "fixed" it. Sound came back after 1 month. Will be bringing the car back in soon.

I'm taking my M2 in for service for this "clicking noise when turning" issue tomorrow (getting consistent metallic clicks when turning in either direction now). I specifically mentioned this thread and the service bulletin. We'll see how it goes...

Follow-up - ticking noise when turning

Took my M2 in to the dealer today to address the ticking noise when turning, which I was able to replicate for them in the dealer's parking lot. Here's what they did, as written in the service invoice:

"Put car on lift, removed both front wheels, calipers and rotors. Sanded off rust from inner surface of rotors. Applied a friction washer between both front wheel hubs and rotor. Re-installed rotors and calipers. Sanded outer surface of rotors to remove rust. Sanded inner ring of front rims. Installed another friction washer between rotors and rims. Torqued wheels and test drove car. No more ticking noise can be heard."

I'm optimistic that this will resolve the issue, but only time will tell.

I have the exact same problem for a while now.
But when I got to the garage...the sound magically disappeared.

Is this a fabrication problem by BMW or just tear and wear?
