Fitment question
Hello beautiful people!
I need some advice from you fitment experts! Struggling to find a suitable set of wheels in the land of australia. Will the following fit (with minimal poke)? AME Tracer GTV F: 18x8.5 +38 with 225/40/18 R: 18x9.5 +45 with 245/35/18 |

245 is the minimum recommended tire width for a 9.5" wheel. So you will have a somewhat stretched look. That should help minimize any rubbing concerns though.
There are people out there that claim they've put 265s on ET45 rims with no rubbing. It certainly gives a flush look (not quite poking). So you could probably go to 255 or 265 width tires. I'm a little skeptical on the ET45 with 265 though. I bet if you had two adults in back seats there would be rubbing around turns or over large bumps. |

Hi! Thanks for the reply!
The wheels are no longer available to me so i've gone with a different style... Would square set up with 18x8.5 +38 be suitable? I was thinking of purchasing the Work D9R's with a medium dish.. |

Going to be a little close with the 38 offset. You looking to do square tire sizes as well? 225 or 235mm width max, limited by the front clearances, would be my guess without rolling fenders or going negative camber.

According to Apex, you either had to install the spacer or you had to trim the shock boot. After installing the wheels and reaching in and feeling between the tire and the shock, I can confirm it's very close, but not touching. I can believe without the spacer it would be touching. Trimming the shock boot, probably not a big deal, but I like the more flush look with the spacer. |
