MY 2021 2-Series

Is 2020 the last MY of the current 2-series or will it continue into 2021 before the next version is introduced?

I did search the forum but couldn't find anything that answered this directly.

TIA

This has come up a few times in other threads, but no one seems to know for sure. The most likely answer is that the current design will continue on until summer/fall of 2021, when they begin manufacturing the 2 series at the plant in Mexico. If the design change and move to Mexico were happening in six months, we would likely know about it by now.

Nothing has been confirmed, but all signs point to the 2 series being moved to the plant in Mexico.

I don't think it should matter that much (globalization and bla bla..) granted it still has a bimmer badge and should (in theory) match the Bayerische standard.
My wafe's Mazda 3 is "hecho en Mexico" and I don't see any problems with it so far.
I think what the car looks (2GC more or less gives the idea) and drives are gonna be deciding factors.
