Fender Flares and Concave Rears on M235

One of the things that I always disliked was that I couldn't get concave rear wheels on the M235, so after doing a lot of research I found a possible solution for all those trying to get wider tires and more concavity on the rear wheels.

I found a fender flare trim that is commonly sold on ebay, which happens have a length that falls perfectly on the seams of the fender panels. I heated the trim with a heat gun to get it into the general shape of the wheel well, then added 3M tape to the back. I primed it, painted it and cleared it before installing, using a color match kit off Amazon. I personally like the look, I think it gives it a more aggressive stance. I was able to run 19"x9.5", +35mm offset with 255/30R19 tires in the back.

I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but for those interested I think it might be helpful.

That looks pretty good! Did you cut the fender underneath or no need because of the tire size? Did you contemplate doing the front in the same fashion? It's really cool to see someone going the extra mile and trying to get more wheel out of the 2 series.

Thanks for the feedback. No modifications needed on the rear fender, the tire fit perfectly without rubbing. The front would probably be a lot more difficult since you are limited by the front wheels turning, you would probably run into rubbing issues.
