265 rear and 235 front on 18's
Hello guys
well i've been driving the 2 since 3 years now and this will be my 3rd car . had an M235i then a 228i and now back to an M240i . i had 265 rears and 235 front ( Michelin 4s) but it was on BBS 19's , it was a major game changer and the traction and handling were much better of course. now i'm wondering if i can have 265 rear and 235 front but on 18's this time around on stock suspension , no mods no fender roll and no spacers. as a side note the m240i stock already feels more potent than my stage1 m235i. long live the b58 regards |

Dinan fits 265s in the rear:
Size: 19" x 9.0" et48 Recommended Tire because of fit: Michelin Pilot Super Sport or P-Zero Corsa – 265/30-19 I'm like you and would rather keep the 18" rim size. Currently looking to see what exists out there in 18x9.0 et48... 265/35-18 should fit the same as 265/30-19. |

This is a tough call... There are like no good wheels manufactured for our spec..
F: 18x8.5et40-43 will fit 235/40/18 MPS4S R: 18x9.5et48-52 will fit 265/35/18 MPS4S Now how you get those offsets is tricky. Personally i would go with the APEX ARC8 or EC7 with spacers all around. et45 with 3-5mm up front and et58 with 5-8mm rear. You can do something similar with VMRs. Now if you want some forged wheels i'd do spec & wheels below: BC Forged KL-series 18x8et41 fronts 18x9et51 rears They offer customs at around $3100 for the set. all my recommendations are for lowered cars. Non-lowered even better lol |

Another data point: I was quoted $3200 for a Forgeline custom forged set. I think that price range is good value for what you get. I do wish Bimmerworld's forged wheels came in sizes better suited to our cars; at ~$400 each, they're remarkably inexpensive.

I contacted Apex for a quote of wheels plus tires. I was going to take the suggestion above go ET45 up front, ET58 in the rear with spacers all around. The Apex sales rep said, no spacer up front required and 5mm in the rear would be enough to clear the shock boot. This poster seems to say this won't work though: https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show...6&postcount=46 And the Apex fitment page seems to suggest ET38 up front. If ET45 really worked without spacers, I would think that would be listed there. https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide Should I order 3mm spacers up front? Wheels ordered are EC-7s 18x8.5 ET45 18x9.5 ET58 |

The 18x8.5 ET35 will likely be the better choice. The ET38 is for the ARC-8 design only. You may still have to add a bit of negative camber to fit the ET35 wheel/235 tire but you will not have to use a front spacer. Either wheel can work, but the ET35 would probably be simpler to fit. You should be able to change your group buy order via gangup under the "My Deals" tab. Please let us know if you have any issues changing it or other questions!

Any reason you recommend the ET35 and negative camber over spacer? Adding neg camber and getting an alignment sounds like more of pain. Does the spacer harm the suspension performance, even a thin one like a 5mm? |

Side note: I also installed M4 Ts and LCA which is actually causing more issues tho. It added a solid degree of camber each side and added more stiffness and less dead weight on steering. Plus I'm at 80k miles so the stock arms were beat! the forward wheel movement is causing inner lining and front bumper rub haha. 35 profile tire next time might help for me. |

ET45 and a 5mm spacer gives you ET40, which is perfect for a 235/40 on the front of an F22.
