How did you arrive at the Hp and Torque gains? Also, does the MAF sensor mount using the factory O-ring? I bought an AFE CAI for another BMW that replaced it with a cheesy foam gasket. It does look very nice ,regardless.

We dyno'd our in-house 328i

Yes, it utilized the factory o-ring. No cheesy foam here, my friend.

The 328i axleback would work, but the mid pipe wouldn't due to vehicle dimensions. We'll actually have a 228i in here within the next few days. Updates to come

If you're working on a proper bolt-on exhaust solution (not a cut-and-weld like so many others), I've got a request: please take into consideration the different rear diffusor options. I'd like to install the M Performance diffusor on my 228i M Sport, but that leads to new headaches about exhaust tip fitment.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the exhaust tip protrusion is limited by the muffler hangers. i.e. you can't just push it back from where the exhaust connects to the cat.

I'll be keeping an eye on this. :-)

The only cutting would be for quad tip instead of dual, like in the case of the 328i.

We'll see what happens

Here is what they have on their web site. It looks like a nice system at a good price. When they come out with a 228i fitment,I'll consider it or the Dinan muffler .

Any chance of a plastic version of your intake? So I can get the same benefits for a fraction of the cost.

Yea,I agree. Form should always follow function. Plus, if you like the look of CF, I don't, why hide it under the hood?
