Rust proofing yah or nah?
I am sure it has been discussed before , but new here and wondering what the consensus is on whether to oil guard or not ?

If you are talking about an oil spray that is a once per year deal, it might be worthwhile. I know mine is starting to show some corrosion on the suspension/chassis bolts. I wouldn't do a ziebart type permanent undercoating.

Yes, depending where you live. I'm in the Boston/northeast area and would absolutely recommend it. Aluminum will still corrode with the harsh brine they put on the roads. Fluid film is a great in between, comes in spray cans and is lanolin based/non toxic. Easy to do it in the driveway or garage in a half hour or less including putting the car on stands. I wouldn't go to any extreme product or hot oil crap, not needed and not ideal anyway. PB corrosion stop is also a fantastic marine hull protectant and works great on cars, same deal as fluid film comes in rattle cans
