Most suitable OBD

I've been using OBDFusion for my E46 but it does not pick up the right data from the right cylinder banks for my M235xi.

What are the most suitable OBD device you have used successfully?

The hardware OBD device I'm using is the Veepeak BLE.

I'm using OBDLink SX, permanently installed in the car, but for data logging on the track. Can't say how it would work on your use case.

I'm thinking more of using it for diagnostics of technical issues in the future. One of the things which I'd like to pick up from the OBD is the Short/Long Term Fuel Trim from both cylinder banks.

Does your OBD device pick up those consistently?

OBDFusion has to be configured for wide band oxygen sensors. Go from there. Also, reach out to the app developers as they are very responsive to inquires and suggested improvements.

I did contact them and here are responses:

Thanks for reaching out to us! Vehicles typically support a subset of the SAE PIDs available over generic OBD2. If you're not seeing values for the PIDs, your vehicle likely doesn't support these PIDs. I'm sorry that I don't have better news!

There are also some O2 sensor voltage wide range (Bank X, Sensor X) SAE PIDs available. If these are supported by your vehicle, they'll be available in the PID selectors when you're connected to your vehicle.
