Avant Garde M359 on Mineral White M235i
I wanted an classic BMW Motorsports look and I think these pull it off very well. Went with H&R springs and Avant Garde M359 wheels which are replicas of the OEM GTS wheels I had on the M3. These are smaller though at 18x8.5+35 and are wrapped in the OEM Michelin PSS tires. 225/40/18 front with 245/35/18 rear.
Yes, I know they are replicas. Say what you want about that, but I just couldn't justify OEM wheel prices and fitments on the 2 series kind of sucks. With the OEM GTS wheels on my E90, I can say I spent about triple on that setup(granted they were 19's). Let me know what you guys think! And Shout out to Jason over at GetYourWheels !! He got me setup with these and out the door in 1 business day agM359-8 by Yo_Keutla, on Flickr agM359-7 by Yo_Keutla, on Flickr agM359-4 by Yo_Keutla, on Flickr agM359-6 by Yo_Keutla, on Flickr agM359-5 by Yo_Keutla, on Flickr agM359-3 by Yo_Keutla, on Flickr agM359-2 by Yo_Keutla, on Flickr agM359-1 by Yo_Keutla, on Flickr Last edited by Yo@BarAndTrack; 06-30-2016 at 07:05 AM.. |

Have not had any rubbing issues and don't expect any. I've done some driving to get a good amount of load on the suspension to help it settle and there have not been any indications of rubbing. Honestly I want to go wider up front with tires. Just wanted to use the OEM setup to save some cash up front for now. Quote:
Sidemarkers are on order! I've also got a few carbon bits to add that I have not gotten around to installing yet. Should clean things up a bit! |

Looks great! 8.5 +35 all around? Glad to see more people using square setups if so, that's what i'm planning but still trying to decide on 18 or 19 and which wheel.

Very nice. What do you think the chances are of getting 245/35s to fit on the front as well? This setup would be ideal for me. I have no plans to lower either.

Thanks! Without lowering, I think you could get away with it but it would be pretty close. I want to run 245 square, but all the performance tires only come in 245/40/18 (ie. RE71R) so they will have a little more sidewall. More than likely looking to run camber plates to get a couple degrees up front to tuck the larger tires on this spec of wheel. We'll see I guess. |
