Will this work when in motion? If not is there a way to code for this on ID5?

Only up to 63km/h; this is the limit for coding video/dvd in motion on ID5+. Some coders and vendors are able to bypass the coding limit though through some kind of script such as dvdinmotion.com

3000 ? VIDEO_HANDBRAKE set to: nicht_aktiv 3000 ? VIDEO_FRONT_LOCKED set to: nicht_aktiv 3000 ? VIDEO_SPEEDLOCK_CONDITION set to: none=00 I wasn't able to add speedlock max / min as that wasn't an option in ID5. 3000 ? SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX werte = FF 3000 ? SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN werte = FF Would love to know if someone got it working on ID5 |

Don't connect to the WiFi network that it's outputting. Just press cast and if you have a Miracast enabled phone you'll see it show up in the cast screen. You do not need to be connected to any WiFi network like Chromecast.

Almaretto Gabrola I coded all these parameters to be aktiv and now my iDrive menu is showinf the Screen Mirroring option. But I cannot get the cellphone to connect and cast. I keep getting a timeout. Tried two different cell phones and they both see the BMW Wifi but while connecting it just continues to load and never connects. Any parameters missing to code? Any step I am missing when connecting? I understand you do not connect directly to the cars WIFI rather you just do cast from the device to the car and it should work.

But it just times out every time I try to cast from the phones to the car. Phones see the car, but they just loop on connecting and then time out.
