2018 M240i Xdrive convertible...slight vibration steering at high speed

I bought a 2018 M240i xdrive convertible auto with 13K miles, for the wife two weeks ago, and noticed a slight vibration in streering wheel, at highway speeds when going over imperfections on the highway.

My VW Golf Alltrack DSG has no vibrations in steering with 50K miles on it.

Please note- I will have it on a lift next week to put on a new under engine splash cover, as when I was driving it from seller in Tampa to Raleigh, I hit a tire retread at 65MPH on highway, and it pushed up and ripped the shield for like 2" cut just behind the bumper air damn, center of car, slightly to the right side passenger side. Visually on a floor jack, I dont see anything impacted in suspension areas. It has 1 years old Michelin PS4 All seasons with 3K miles on them, which I actually really impressed with the grip and ride.

Otherwise, what a great chassis, I love the fact this M240 is a luxury car ride around town and for the wife, and then the Sunday Funday mountain roads its split personality and a blast to toss around and be playful.

Anything I should inspect please chime in...

Thanks

Check wheel balance. If you are running square swap front to rear to see if that “fixes” the problem.

I find 18-20” wheels much more susceptible to balance issues. My mini with 19s gets out is balance between every rotation.

I considered that, but its only when I go over a road bump, just for a second, then its fine.

I think the Xdrive and a Convertible with a big 6cyl there maybe is some suspension vibration on bumps coming through to the steering wheel...

I am going to take my tire pressure up 3lbs to 35 Front and see what happens...

Thanks
