Rough Idle after installing VRSF Catless DP

Hello all,

I'm slightly confused in my situation. I bought the VRSF DP/JB4 combo last year from Extreme Power House and installed it without any issues. It ran fine for me. I stored my car over winter with the DP on and when I started it for the first time it ran rough. I knew this might have had to do with the fuel but I had a full tank of 90ethonal free that I had to get through. I ended up installing the stock cat and it ran much better. I ran through the full tank and added new fuel (93oct from Mobile). Bought a new gasket and vclamp from BMW and reinstalled the VRSF DP. Still had the same issue and have a video clip of how it sounds. Any ideas? [IMG]

Unless it's a bad install (boost leak) or a bad sensor, idle is not affected by a downpipe.
Double-check your install and clean the O2 sensor, if that does not fix it check your MAF sensor, fuel pumps, and injectors.

Kinda sounds like the injectors are gummed up from sitting all winter long. Maybe try a can of seafoam and long highway drive to force clean the injectors, before you jump on the expensive parts wagon.

So I figured out that I was an idiot and had the o2 adapter in the upstream and not the downstream. Everything else was fine after I swapped them around. Sorry guys!
