My Subaru wrx was a flat. I don’t remember the sound to be particularly remarkable in anyway, but sound is subjective

I love the V8 sound and a close friend’s straight piped Silverado was one of my favorite sounding trucks that I’ve ever seen.

Flat 4-cylinder motors sound very different than 6s. Here's an example of a flat 6:

Well all those parts were going to be ordered. I did pay for the downpipe haha if they won't return it (and I don't see why), then I will consider it sunk cost or try to sell it here.

I am getting the most famous P-car with a turbo and an "S" The new one!

The M240i's fate will be... well, let's see.

What is it; that is, is it AWD?

Well this one is going to be a convertible I am just beginning the process of "figuring this all out". More than likely this will be a custom order.

Well... I am sure it is going to be a custom order. We will see. However with the level of customization Porsche offers, I won't be finding one off the lot. Or pretty damn lucky if I do. I have been educating myself on the P-car.

And yes, the M240i may remain. This car is magical. I am just so in love with it. So is the wife. It is, truly, a sweet car. Just the perfect package.

I have a feeling that will happen as well. Its too hard to resist at this point.

Im loving the performance on the car as it is now, to be honest with you. But more is always better.

Just the stage 2 93 Octane MHD tune, and the CTS turbo downpipe, make the car sound mean and perform very well.. Ive had surprising responses around here from a couple of corvette guys when I cold start.

XHP was definitely necessary. very smooth shifting.. a lot less delay than before.

Im considering taking it to a track next weekend to get some track times on it. Just depends on if I can schedule a time to get my michelin PS4's fitted first.

Get a DRAGYYYY! Post numbers. Seriously, you will be surprised.

In fact, and I am serious, it will also help you fine tune the car or find any budding problems. Get a Dragy.

Before modifications, did you baseline dyno the car?

I wish I baselined it. Never thought of doing it until I flashed-tuned it unfortunately

Meh. I installed the Dorch Stage 1 pump in late April and have since tuned with F80 Paul on E40. The extra 40+ WHP over stock pump E30 OTS will hold me over until at least next Spring.

God this whole ethanol business seems like such a hassle. Does it make the car smell like a ho kart?

There’s a station near me that sells race fuel. Highly considering stopping by. Don’t want to mess with any ethanol mix..

Explain this to me, can you put racing fuel in our stock cars?

I think you need a specific tune for it no?

Edit: https://www.badasscars.com/index.cfm...rod/prd427.htm

Good read.

HPFP install was easy. a lot simpler than the downpipe. A lot less time consuming.

Running an E30 tune now. its Fast
