MyCarly

Im out of warranty and my car is showing a code. Last time it appears was a pulse generator. I need to identify which one is. Carly is that specific or I need to go to someone with a scanner for BMW?
Also, it's necessary to buy their adapter or there are other options?

Any help will be appreciated, I'm actually at lockdown because of covid19 and everything is closed.

I've used Carly for years - it does require their adapter, but it's not that expensive. For reading codes, it's always been pretty specific, although I'm not sure I understand what a "pulse generator" is. Are you talking about spark plug coil packs or ???

Thanks, I ordered the adapter.

No, the pulse generator is the name they gave to the speed sensor. Last time the code was for the rear left sensor. Is an easy job to fix but I need the diagnostic.

So how are things down in PR in this pandemic thing? I was there (San Juan) at the end of August - 1st port of call on a cruise just before the Hurricane.

After 3 weeks of lockdown the government inform that we are supposed to start the next two week will be the worst part of the pandemia. Let see if its true. At the moment 573 sick, 23 deaths and 973 waiting for test results.

Hope things get better for you soon! We have a fairly low rate of infection and death here in NC, and all of our beaches along the coast are now closed to the public. That should help slow down the spread.

We have visited PR twice in the past several years and always enjoy it. I remember seeing an E31 8-series parked at a home and restaurant right off the road that goes up to the observation tower that is part of the rainforest tour.

It's a great place to visit or live and if you're a car enthusiast more. We have a great variety of cars in the island.

As soon as we finish with this lockdown and with the covid-19 both of you are welcome to enjoy the island. 🏝🏖
