Logo on analog instrument cluster
hi!
newbie here. just got my 2016 M235i convertible and bimmercode, and ready to wreak havoc. car has NBT and no nav, all stock. I was able to switch the logo on the (6.5") display to the m logo with bimmercode. I was NOT able to get any logo except a hideous old "BMW" logo on the small display at the bottom center of the instrument cluster. My IC has the analog gauges - hardware MPG needle on the tach. Should I be able to change the splash screen on the IC? I know I can;t get a continuous display logo with this cluster. My car has a service display (needs oil change in 2000 miles) - does that suppress/replace the splash screen I'm trying to program? is there any way to see what the splash screen is without resetting the service warning? Thnaks! Dave |
