Exhaust Tip Alignment Dowel Orientation

Hi,

Is the dowel at 12 o'clock?

I am looking to get some BMS chrome angled exhaust tips for when my F23 M235i arrives so just wondering.

Depends on the car. Yours is likely at a 45 degree angle, as mine was. Check before ordering

+1 on checking before ordering

Most M235 i have seen have the 12 o'clock dowel

Guess I was an unlucky one to get the 45 degree dowell

Not sure if its a production date kind of thing but at first all the M235 i saw had the 45 degrees dowel. Not most of them have the 90 degrees

Yes. I installed the BMS chrome black angled tips on my F23 ragtop.

Thanks good people!

It does appear the earlier build dates are at 45 degrees and the later ones at 0.

I am from the UK and I wanted to pre order the tips before I have the car due to oversea shipping, that's all.

You do realise that in the time it took you to post this you could have simply had a quick look under your car to confirm the orientation?

Mine are at 12 O'Clock.
Good thing too, because my 90mm CF Tips are angled.

Burger Motor Sports make some awesome equipment.
Their Tips are well made, and at an excellent price.

I love my JB4!
