M235i xDrive 2016
Hey guys, I own a BMW M235i xDrive 2016 with 38000 miles.
I am not a huge car person, so I don't really know all the technical terms. Just recently, I put in a VSRF catless downpipe, and I am looking to get it tuned. I am having trouble finding any information on someone with the xDrive model having their car tuned. Can someone give me any insight on which route I should take in order to do this? I would love any input on this and would appreciate any information you guys could provide. |

Hi, I also have a 2016 M235i xDrive. I have had it tuned since 30k miles and just about to approach 90k miles. I ran Evolution racewerks Downpipe, intercooler, and charge pipe. NGK 97506 spark plugs gapped at .018 as well with Bootmod3 as my tuning platform. Car ran beautiful and consistent till about 80k where my turbo wastegate failed and I decided to due Pure stage 2 along with Spool Performance high and low pressure fuel pumps.
I would definitely recommend charge pipe and intercooler as your next upgrades since the stock one tends to break easily. Bootmod3 is very easy to use and the stage 2 shelf map was more than enough to notice a power difference. |

I also have a 2016 M235i XDrive. bm3 Stage 1 after warranty expired, drove that for a year and then went Stage 2. I'm now at 146,000 km and no major problems. Regular maintenance is key!
