Missed our 235, so we bought a 240
Past year or two we have had the Focus RS, Civic Type R, and the Si (for long trips) and we finally broke down and bought a 2019 240 vert. Wife decided she was tired of harsh rides, so she got a baby Lexus IS.
We were looking high and low for another M3 but the deal on this thing was just too damn good due to it being a 19 and the 20's are right around the corner. Needless to say, happy to be back in a BMW and good to see the familiar names still on the boards. |

Nice. Civic Si is a great travel/DD car. I personally could never justify the price point on the RS or the Type R.

Our 2014 had the badges and we left them on, the 2019 did not come with them.
Thanks, no chance of that, we know this car very intimately. I was torn on getting a vert in the 240 particularly because you lose quite a bit of rear room all around. With our son getting older and having other cars it's just not as big of a deal as it used to be. Looking forward to some nicer weather up here and using it more. |

Other than that there is not much to tell one apart from the other (from behind the wheel), and I am fairly certain 0-60 and 1/4 times would be within 1-2/10ths or so of one and other. The 235 was quick, so is the 240. The real upgrade that makes it very much worth it is the new i drive, and the new wheels. I know it is petty, but I absolutely hated the look and color of the old orbit wheels. Quote:
After HG replacement #2, decided it was time to let it be someone else's headache. Every mile behind the wheel was straight up worth most of the aggravation though. |

the RS is one of the cars I was looking at before getting my 235. I still see RS' and drool. . .
nice pick up! I've been thinking of getting a 'vert a lot lately too!
