Normal temps?

So my son and I were planning on running a track event in Aug. Since the 235 doesn't have any temp gauges I set up an old phone with OBD Fusion to monitor oil and water temps. On an easy drive today I saw numbers that looks a little high. I'm not sure I trust the readings. Oil temp acted pretty normal, rising to 210-240 range depending on load. It was a 90 degree day. Water temp acted kind of odd. I may not be monitoring the right PID. At first it rose to 190ish, fell back to 170, and then when load increased rose to 225. More or less stayed there even when load decreased. Normal?

Search for SECRET MENUE - coolant, oil, oxygen sensor temps are all available on the dash if u follow the correct procedure before the engine is running.

1. hit the start button with your finger already on the trip reset button
2. hit it until you hit unlock...
3. add the last 5 numbers of your vin, thats the unlock code
4. it's under the 4th option labeled "temperature" i believe

Got it. Thanks, the numbers seem to match what OBD Fusion was reporting.
