Rough Missfire, Black smoke ... Testing Fuel Pump ?
Hey All,
Looking for some advice as the car has not thrown any codes. Heres the situation, car started to hiccup a bit then bam no power black smoke coming out of the rear, shaking im pretty sure it stalled out at that time also. but I was in some traffic so i got it started back up and limped off the road. I thought it was due to my meth tank running out but i realized I wasnt WOT. even in the stock map it continued to happen over 3k RPM when getting into boost. Im starting to think its a fuel pump related issue as it seems my car has been slow to start lately but I also only drive it once or twice a week. Any way to check the Health of the LPFP or HPFP ? Would it be evident in a log ?. Or just looking at AFRs Thanks! Mods: Jb4, BEF,XHP TFlash, CP,DP, Intercooler, intake and Meth

Black smoke means your running rich I believe. Check to see if your fuel injectors are stuck open and don't drive it!
