Nice. How did you get them in 11 days? It took almost a month for mine.

I just ordered a set of these mirror caps thanks to this thread. They look amazing! I went to a local body shop and had them clear coated to prevent yellowing and haziness. They looked even nicer after the shop lightly sanded and re-coated them! I also took a leap of faith and bought the carbon fiber trunk spoiler. Unfortunately, the fitment is not as nice as the mirrors, but for $100 I can't complain! Shipping took 8 days, I was blown away!

Anyone have a DIY for clear coating these? Or is it easier just to get a shop to do it?

I bought a spoiler...fitment is not great. I had to take the spoiler off and re apply the double sided tape because the tape was not sticking well due to the factories placement. Now its coming up again, so I'll have to redo it soon. The entire piece is bowed, so it doesn't sit flat on the trunk. That's what you get for $100...

Maybe I'll take a stab at it this weekend. I bought automotive enamel (UV stable) from home depot in a rattle can. I'm just going to try to spray it then wet sand and polish if needed. It is a small surface area, so if you are half decent with a rattlecan it shouldn't be too hard to get an even coat.

If you have a good shop close by I would probably do that if it was $50 or less.

Thanks! Please report back after you take a stab at it! I'm decent with rattle cans (plastidipped tons of things in the past).. it's the sanding part I am not too good at!

Have you figured out a way to get it to stick down without the corners or back side coming up?
