BMWPartsPros.com l M CARBON FIBER AND ALCANTARA INTERIOR TRIM - COUPE M240i LCI

An innovative and unique design taken from the world of Motorsport, this 5-piece interior trim set replaces the vehicle’s existing trim (door handle pulls and dashboard insert) with open-pore carbon fiber and Alcantara. The open-pore carbon fiber is protected with a satin finish which also allows for the carbon structure to be felt. The Alcantara trim over the dashboard is branded with the M Performance trademark.

COUPE ONLY.

Link for coupe says won't fit 2020 m240, but I was under the impression the trim was the same from 2019.

If not, any idea if one exists for 2020?

Hello and thank you for contacting BMWPartsPros!

Our back-end is behind on 2019+ models for fitment since the models are new.

This will fit your model as long as you have the 2020 M240i LCI and not NON-LCI.

Please feel free to email me (brit@bmwpartspros.com) if you have any further questions.

The link for the convertible seems to show full carbon trim on the center dash different to the alcantara of the coupe. Is there anything for the convertible in the same style as the coupe?

Hello!

BMW unfortunately does not have one for the F22 LCI Coupe models with this type of trim.

Just the one above for the convertible models.

Unfortunately BMW did not make a performance interior kit for the F23 models that come with carbon fiber and alcantara.

Is the coupe interior actually different in how it fits or is the difference that alcantara doesn’t stand up to weather?

In other words, can I get either one?

Hello,

Yes the M240i LCI and PRE-LCI models share different sizes in trims, nothing to do with the alcantara holding up with the weather.

Hi Brit!

Thanks for the reply, but that’s not the question I mean to ask.

I’m talking about post-LCI only.

The dash replacement part for the convertible appears to be carbon without alcantara. https://www.bmwpartspros.com/p-bmw-c...-lci-lcicftrim

The dash replacement part for the coupe is mostly alcantara.

I have a coupe.
Can I choose either one?
(If not, why not?)

Yes there are two different LCI trims, the one in full alcantara is from the M2 model for the coupe without the M Performance letters on it.

I made the kit for clients who wanted to upgrade without the M Performance letters.

The alcantara trim pieces are for the F22 LCI coupe models with the M performance letters.

You can choose either one for your LCI model.

Hope that clears things up for you.

So you have one LCI kit with a dash piece that’s alcantara with a carbon surround.
(The coupe link listed at the start of this thread)

And one LCI kit with a dash piece that’s carbon with a faux metal surround.
(The convertible link listed later in the thread)

Both will fit an M240 LCI coupe.
Is that correct?
